Without information, there could easily have been more stars! So here's what I know based on a small amount of time I've spent on the dyno. Here you have a single pole double throw switch. There is an extra terminal that needs to be grounded in order for the light to come on when the switch is pressed. You can also install a quenching resistor between the side terminal and ground if you find the light too bright. In my case I used a large ferrule (which I would call the diameter of the mounting thread to tie that terminal to ground) to make installation easier. Keep in mind that this assumes you have a negative base. Make sure the source is connected to + volts and the load is connected to the remaining terminal. I used this on a 6 volt system and it worked fine. I needed to know when the fuel pump was on. I've also found that the terminals are compatible with regular crimp terminals.
