Review on Streamlined Single Handle Bathroom Technology Assembly: 559HA BL DST by Souly Buddy

I love the aesthetic design of this faucet but after installing it for a few months I am looking for a different faucet. I am very concerned about two things. I thought I could live with them, but in the end I decided they bothered me too much. The first and most frustrating thing is that when the lever is in the up position as shown in the pictures of this faucet, it is actually the hot position. In the cold position, the lever is turned towards you. So if you want it to be in the topmost position, it's hot by default. This goes against common sense. We have a similarly designed faucet from another company in another bathroom and it has opposite hot/cold water positions which makes a lot more sense. There are red and blue dots on the lever of this faucet, so yes you can swap the hot/cold water hoses, but then they won't match the dots. Another issue that worries me is that the pivoting faucet is really loose. So if you tap it just a little bit, it'll move to one side or the other and won't sit straight. The whole faucet also looks a little crooked despite being properly mounted on the lever top.
