Makes great omelettes!

At first I didn't like this omelette, but after eating the omelet I liked it. You get a perfectly cooked, fluffy omelet every time. Nothing sticks and it's very easy to use once you get the hang of it. The machine feels a little cheap, the block is very light and plastic and the lid slides. I don't think it matters because the results have been great. The metal-coated plates on which the omelet is cooked are not removable for washing, but they wash easily, I was skeptical. I clean them with white vinegar and water as I can't get the soap off. The instructions for use are not very detailed and this was my first experience with an omelette maker. You turn it on and the red and green lights come on. Once the red light goes out, it's heating up and ready to pour in the ingredients. I shook two eggs with a drop of milk in a measuring cup. I sprayed the plates with cooking spray. I poured eggs into each plate and that was just enough. I added shredded cheese and chopped veggies on each side and closed. The red light turns on and off during cooking as it regulates the heating temperature. I've found eight minutes to be the ideal cooking time (I don't like it when it's runny), so I can time it now and don't have to keep opening the lid to check if it's done. It's said you can't use metal utensils to pull out omelettes because they would scratch the plates. A silicone scraper makes it easy to pull out the omelet pieces every time. You layer two pieces on top of each other and it looks and tastes better than restaurant omelettes. I've tried cooking an omelet in a pan many times, but nothing good has come of it. I have many kitchen gadgets that are rarely used, but this one gets a lot of use and we love it. It will be perfect for our vacation next week, it will be easy to make an omelet for breakfast in the hotel room. It would be nice if there was a little guide with tips (how many eggs, how long to cook) and recipes, but I figured it out. It would also be nice if the bulbs were labeled and there was an on/off switch instead of pulling the plug out of the socket.
