The ink worked well for the printer it was designed for. Both colors printed well and the final print was good. I was only able to print about 100 pages of black ink before it ran out, which was very disappointing. It was 100 pages of a normal printed document with no black and white images for the ink to absorb. Even though it wasn't an XL pickup, I expected more. Another problem is that it is extremely overpriced compared to ink toners from other manufacturers. In fact, cartridges from other manufacturers printed more pages from a single cartridge and the ink color was more defined. I would suggest saving your money and buying a cheaper option than branded inks. Unbranded works even better.
