I used to use DAP and Elmer's but I tried one of these on a really bad patch that I needed to repair due to moisture damage. I wasn't happy with how it worked. Then I had moisture damage again which was worse the second time around so I did some research and decided to give this a try. It's not as easy to work with as the others I've used, but it's not difficult to work with either and it did an amazing job. I was worried that the drywall might need replacing, but this 3M patch did the job perfectly and it wasn't necessary. You can't even see where the damage was.
