Works well: paint, wall care products and supplies

I've been fixing old and new plaster for 40 years and this product is unlike anything I've used before. It has the consistency of whipped cream but dries quickly and can be sanded dry without the usual mess. I've tried wet sanding and it works. Being able to dry sand without leaving any residue is a great feature. It also takes color well.

The packaging is NOT sealed after opening!

Easy to use, convenient product - but packaging is NOT sealed (by design) once opened! A small cut in the lid of the box falls out and the box won't reseal! Why force the user to use the entire 32 oz of product or waste it as it is not resealable, dries up and has to be thrown away?

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some bugs

That's magic!

It's like magic! I came across the blog when we were doing a total home renovation and they recommended this product. It goes on like clockwork. So easy to use that I put putty on for the first time and felt like a pro with the results I got. This is not a product you would apply with your finger, you will need a good spatula and sanding block. It dries quickly so you can paint in just minutes. If the tub dries out, just add a little water until it's the right consistency again. Seriously the…

This patch material is great

I used to use DAP and Elmer's but I tried one of these on a really bad patch that I needed to repair due to moisture damage. I wasn't happy with how it worked. Then I had moisture damage again which was worse the second time around so I did some research and decided to give this a try. It's not as easy to work with as the others I've used, but it's not difficult to work with either and it did an amazing job. I was worried that the drywall might need replacing, but this 3M patch did the job…

Easy to use, good for painting, finishing walls and accessories

This product is good for patching small holes and cracks in interior walls. You don't have to be an expert. That, a spatula and sandpaper is all you need. Using a spatula, spread the putty over the damaged area as many times as necessary to fill the damaged area. You can even use your finger for small hard-to-reach places. Leave to dry overnight. This product tends to shrink slightly after drying, so you may need to reapply a small amount. If so, let it dry overnight again. When product is dry,

Amazing to say the least

Amazing to say the least. I live in a dorm and picked a couple of command strips off the wall and one had a bit of paint chipping. Not wanting to pay a ridiculous amount of money at the end of the semester when I left, I decided to fix it myself and you can't say anything happened. I just applied it with my fingers and let it dry and I don't have sandpaper or anything like that so I used a nail file which I don't use because it's too rough and it worked perfectly. I'm not good at fixing things,
