I ordered this from Revain Deal of the Day for $499 ($899 MSRP) and it only arrived last night so I've only used it twice. So far this seems like a good machine, but there are a few issues/cautions: The bean hopper includes a dial that adjusts the grind level. DO NOT TOUCH IT. It is preset at the factory and can only be set when the mill is running. Obviously adjusting the grind setting when the grinder is NOT running can damage it. Of course, this is not noticeable when unpacking, since this warning is only found in the information in the operating instructions. This should be more visible when unpacking the car. Better yet, change the design so that instead of a "button to break the machine" the grinder is only adjustable with a set screw (requires a screwdriver to turn) or place it behind a panel that requires a more careful action to access it. Secondly, this thing doesn't seem to like beans with oil. I got a packet of Costco espresso blends (Kirkland brand but Starbucks roasted) and they don't seem oilier than the beans I see at my local coffee shops, but after 2 brews of espresso I started having feeding issues have beans. The mill ran but the grains didn't reach it and the machine kept flashing the error light. I found a workaround, using the included tool to stir the beans around the grind chute while the machine grinds to keep the beans moving. Otherwise the machine runs but does not brew coffee. Finally, a machine in this price range must have a programmable clock that turns on at a set time every day. It has an adjustable auto-off feature, which is nice, but in the morning when I'm in a hurry to get an espresso and head out the door, I have to turn the machine on and wait for it to warm up. ramp up before I can start brewing. After the coffee maker is warmed up and ready to use, it takes about a minute to grind and prepare espresso. Warming up and cleaning takes 2-3 minutes. The espresso comes out delicious, with great crema, and aside from the problem of delivering slightly oily beans, the espresso machine is very easy to use and clean (but no cleaning is needed until you've brewed many cups, as the garbage can is quite big). I look forward to replacing my Keurig machine with great espresso and no disposable cups. Edit: Decided to upgrade it to 4 stars after using it for another week with good results. I've only had to stimulate the delivery a few times lately, although for some reason my espresso still doesn't come out strong enough, even at full strength.
