Review on ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ Enhanced Precision Printing with Twotrees Sliding Guideway Bearing Printer by Jacob Ferrarini

Great if you work a little

I decided to take a chance and buy these cheap MGN12H rails. Like all of Revain's other MGN12H rails, they come with some form of protective grease, so you'll need to disassemble and thoroughly clean all of the grease. Until you do this, the carriage will not move freely. There are some good disassembly videos on YouTube if you've never done it. You will need some sort of parts shell to do this, as there are a lot of very small ball bearings in the bottom bracket. I had to clean up the plastic a bit, the clips holding the ball bearings aren't quite right. There were no other surprises during disassembly/assembly. There were no clips to hold the carriage on the track so feel free to print them out if you have access to a 3D printer. Don't forget to lubricate it before putting the bottom bracket back on the rail. The whole point of my purchase was to upgrade my Y axis on my Ender3 and I am happy with the results. The rail works well enough without breaking the bank. I would buy again for another project at any time.
