Excellent comfortable shoes. The first day I went to the parade and walked about 5 miles back and forth, it was wonderful to walk so comfortably. I'm out of shape, an ex-smoker, in my 40's so that's saying a lot. 5 years ago I was working in a distribution center and was on the run all day to lift weights. I was in better shape but my feet always hurt. After trying all types of safety shoes I came across the Sketchers line of soft heels and even after I quit that job I kept buying them as they were easy to find in plus sizes. Longevity was never an issue, they were abused at work for 40+ miles a day and after another 6 months casual wear was bought. Quit that job after a year and still buying them but last month I decided I needed lightweight overalls. durable and compound sock to get me to and from the office and I didn't want to wear a 14 so I went back to Sketchers and found this shoe. They fit perfectly the first day, I smiled for hours, I forgot that shoes can feel almost as good as barefoot (for those who like to go barefoot like me). I'm happier if they last me 1 year, happier if they last me 3 years as I plan to only wear them to get to and from work. a place with a great returns policy; You don't have to be hung up on 4-5 pairs of shoes that you hate wearing and hate throwing away because some price tags just aren't effective.
