This is a really wonderful gift for a baby. It is packaged in a beautiful box that is easy to pack. The blocks inside are wrapped in crumpled paper confetti which really makes for a great visual impact the product is laid out in. Opening the box is a very special experience. The blocks themselves don't have straight sides and that's the whole difference between this set and any other block stacking sets you see. It is a lot of fun for the child in different ways. We use it in art class. We drop them and then try to draw them. We also just stack them and use them in another game for food, jewelry or buried treasure. They're just a great addition to a toy set.
