Review on ViewSonic VX3276-MHD Frameless Widescreen Display with DisplayPort, Backlit, 1920X1080P at 60Hz by Justin Brendemuehl

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bad luck the first time, much better luck the second time

Right off the bat, the right look at this monitor is basically the same resolution as a regular but much more modest (21-23 inch?) 1080p monitor due to its sheer size. If you are 32 full inches tall, your ppi will drop. This isn't really a blow to the device, just a simple reality to be aware of. When I first received this product, I had discoloration the size of a few fists on the lower left corner. a manual angle that seemed to cause weakness on blacks and caused a noticeable cloud of (relative) brightness when the screen was black but still on, but completely invisible in light colors. I cannot fully attribute this to a manufacturer issue as there is always a chance that the packaging made a mistake and I don't think it was my fault as I was very cautious due to the huge screen size and thinness of the screen. some parts of the bezel. So I didn't penalize this review given that fact. But to be fair I started the return, got the monitor 2 days later and took it back to Coles with all the parts, everything inside was completely pain free. The new monitor has no problems. Speaking of pain free, I have to say that it was packaged very well and it was incredibly easy to assemble and attach the monitor stand to the monitor, as well as taking it apart once I took the first backrest. It pivots up and down and doesn't dangle on the hinges at all. The width of the base makes it very stable and the whole looks very nice. While I can't quite speak to the "gaming quality" of this device, respectable Google results show a response time of 4ms, which isn't bad at all. , and will not be visible to anyone except a select few godly CSGO or OSU players with the pickiest of tastes. It's certainly a pleasant experience to have a clear view of two windows side by side, each taking up as much space as my entire previous monitor. It certainly helps someone like me who has a debugger, a disassembler, a call graph and a google search running at the same time. 4k There's no chance you'll be able to see the entire screen at once unless you're about 3 feet away. But if you want a good crystal clear screen that you can do 6 things at once, then turn it into an HD TV for you and a few friends and enjoy semi-competitive gaming from time to time, then this is definitely the one right choice, especially considering the discount on the main day i got it.
