Doesn't work Very slippery

Needed a ramp for our 13 year old 50 ib. Labradoodle who has arthritis in his hindquarters and can't jump into our Kia Sorrento SUV. When I took it out of the box it looked fine and we put it on the floor for Sarah to get used to. She avoided him for a long time, but eventually (with some persuasion and treats) tried to climb on him. However, while standing on it, she slipped on the plastic edge and fell. It was the end of that ramp for her. She didn't want to get too close to him and when we finally put him in the car for her to try, she backed away. Unfortunately I tried to get her to get up when I should have read her body language and she nervously walked over and fell back down. She returned to the box, set off and returned to Revane. I think the plastic edging she's made of is too slippery and even the carpet on the ramp doesn't hold her paws well. get up and get out of the car. Does anyone know of a better quality ramp, not so cool and made out of plastic that would fit? I would like to find one for Sarah to see if she can easily and safely climb into the back seat of our car.
