This cable saved my entertainment center. My Xbox One S wasn't sending IR to the TV through the Kinect, so I was keen to try it because the Xbox on feature and voice volume control are my Kinect's main uses and helped me get rid of all but one of the remotes. This cable plugged directly into the infrared port on the back of the Xbox One S, and the cable was long enough to get just about anywhere you need it. Microsoft advises against using a cable with more than 3 IR blasters so I went with one with 2 and it works fine.
