I bought a used Bosch 500 series dishwasher, apparently the door sensor was 'fixed' which is why the dishwasher became a such good price was offered. The sensor was not "replaced", the dishwasher seller did a great job. The dishwasher often stalled, sometimes restarting by itself, sometimes just stopping because it thought the door was open. Not an easy replacement, but not a very difficult one either. You should be able to easily remove the door panel and pull the dishwasher out from under the countertop. But simple hand tools, and after about 15 minutes, the dishwasher started working stably.
