I needed decent running headphones. Nothing fancy or particularly high tech, just something light, with decent sound quality and not too expensive. These definitely fit. They are very comfortable, easy enough to put on and stay in place. My music sounded great through them, and they stayed even while I was stretching out with my head hanging and fully bent over. They have an adjustable V-separating slide and an additional small clip that can also be adjusted with a little force. This was especially nice because it allowed me to secure the cord in place so it didn't bounce around and get in my arms as I ran. I just got them so can't comment on durability but so far I'm very satisfied. And honestly, for less than $15, I'm glad they last 6 months! Update: Well I said I'd be happy if these headphones lasted 6 months and I think I'm eating my words a little. I've owned it for about 9 months now (ordered December 2011) and would like to replace it. A few things I noticed after prolonged use to be aware of: Sometimes when I first started running I would get a pretty strong hit from the left earcup. This has only ever happened on the left side, and I'm pretty sure only when I've been on the treadmill, although I'm not sure. I don't know what caused it and it didn't happen every time I ran, just occasionally, but the shock was strong enough to be distracting and even painful. It usually stopped after a while, but once or twice it was bad enough that I had to take my headphones off completely and run with no music. I found that the right earbud didn't stay in my ear as well as the left one and I often had to reach up and adjust it while running to keep it from falling out. Finally, while jogging recently, I noticed that there is less sound coming from the right earphone than from the left. That was the last straw for me and I will be replacing them. Like I said $15 is pretty cheap and I think you get what you pay for. I went about nine months without any decent use (not counting hits I think). I won't be buying a spare pair but will be looking for something more durable.
