Let me start by saying this is a cool, slick, powerful little PC, but as a techie I'm a bit worried about CPU overheating. Inside there is a small fan, you can hear it gaining speed in certain operations, but it does not overheat and does not get very hot. It is not intended for resource-intensive processes like video editing or playing resource-intensive graphics games. boots fast. There is a fast boot option in the bios which is disabled by default. I feel like the system boots pretty quickly without having to turn it on. A small problem occurred after the first boot/login. The OS ran a malicious scan that was weird and reported 2 issues. The problem got solved, but after that I ran Windows Defender and found several malware. I have built many PCs and also installed the operating system. I have never encountered or encountered such a problem on first boot. I'm not saying craftsmen/developers/engineers did anything. I am only explaining my experience with this product. I reinstalled the operating system and encountered a sound problem. In short, about it. If you run into a problem, search for Beelink U55 audio drivers and you should find several websites. I got my drivers from the Beelink forum. Read a little to find the link to the ZIP file. After I installed and updated everything everything works fine. I've done my own little tests and so far so good. No lags, hiccups or crashes. Overall I think this is a good PC for those looking for something simple and fast that doesn't tax the computer too much or use it as an entertainment player. Small and strong box. It's about the size of a Roku Ultra and fits perfectly on a desk next to a monitor. I only wish the headphone jack was placed on the back when it can only have one headphone jack. This was a gift for someone and I'm impressed with it and the price. For the i3, I looked for systems over $430, which is odd for an older processor, but still, until I stumbled upon these minis. I'm glad I did.
