The wreath is very pretty and seems strong enough to support a covered porch, although it would probably do better indoors. Its diameter is 15-16 inches and it looks very beautiful on the front door. However, it will NOT close the front door almost from side to side like a few photos of the wreath hanging on the door on the listing. That's the right size. This is a small wreath. The flowers are attached to a thin vine wreath (and the flowers completely cover it so you only see the flowers) and it hangs from a long loop of twine. It will hang nicely on a hanger above the door or just on a nail (which I did) on the front door. It's lightweight and if you're hanging it indoors I think the hook would be a great hanging option. Very happy with this wreath and I love the beautiful pink colors!
