This is a cordless clipper designed for precision trimming, ie shaping lines or trimming close to the head. The clipper feels heavy (probably due to the batteries), has an LED display that shows the remaining power (maximum 99), and the clipper's outer shell is made of hard plastic that's almost metal to the touch. Shiny gold color. Works well, no complaints. Didn't get warm, very quiet, ate thick hair like nothing. A very good clipper but durability can be questionable. As for the latter, I can't say for sure, but just oil the blades and oil the internals every six months and it *should* keep going. The first impression is very, very good.
