I recently bought and fitted this for my BMW e64. So far the product works with no separate parts other than a separately purchased rubber washer - the license plate frame is currently not slipping, but vibrations in the future may or may not cause it to come loose - time will tell. The tow hook adapter will still fit properly, but the plastic bag that came with this product says "Use a rubber washer to prevent the mounting bracket from rotating." and "There are 8 attachment points so the plate doesn't block the parking sensor. " Despite the product packaging, there is no rubber washer included and based on other reviews I believe it was never included. Also, I've moved the platen to the right as far as possible and to the lowest possible setting and I can't stop it from blocking the parking sensor - it's quite annoying as I get a false alarm every time I move. that something is right in front of me. After all, my car is a convertible so I don't use automatic car washes, but I would be tired that the license plate frame could be damaged by the force of the spinning brushes or high pressure water on the side farthest from the hitch. --Fyi Do not purchase Revain recommended stainless steel license plate frame parts as they are not required (lock washers and license plate mounting screws are already included with this tow hole mounting bracket).
