Review on KitchenArt 23401 2 Cup πŸ₯„ Adjust-A-Cup: Versatile White Plastic Measuring Solution by Amber Powell

Difficult to clean but good for measuring fat.

I was taking a cake decorating class and my instructor recommended an adjustable measuring cup. It was one of the first to come up in my search, and it was affordable ($8.54). I often use it to measure the cut of a Crisco because you can scoop it into an adjustable cup and it will fall right out. When I bought this measuring cup, I stopped buying shortening bars (with measurements on the package) and bought a large jar from Costco. Cleaning this tool would be my biggest complaints: 1. There are many slots in the cylindrical pusher for food to stick to and it is not easy to pull out the entire short. If you can't remove it all, the once-white section will turn into an ugly shade of yellow.2. If I refuse to hand wash it, I run it in the dishwasher, but water collects inside the cylindrical pusher because it's hollow, and water seeps in where the rubber meets the white plastic. Even washing both by hand and in the dishwasher is no guarantee that all the grease will come out of the slots.
