Review on ๐Ÿšซ NO DOGS Orange Color Coded Semi-Choke Dog Collar: A Safety Measure to Prevent Accidents and Warn Others of Your Dog's Incompatibility with Other Dogs by Vickie Palmer

In addition to these

people become illiterate. For example, any collar that says NO DOGS or NERVOUS should be a martingale (with a part that retracts and acts as a humane chokehold, distributing pressure evenly down the neck and preventing escape). If the dog reacts or is frightened, the escape must be prevented at all costs. I would never use a standard collar on my dog without this feature. In fact, my dog IS reactive because we were attacked by a fearful aggressive dog whose owner tried to restrain him with a standard collar that pulled over his head when resisted. Also as an indication of how it is perceived by others, but not as a criticism of the product. The people I want to share the embroidered message with, namely people with naughty or unleashed dogs, never do. They also don't understand why it's orange. It's just that few people know about reactive dogs and color-coded leashes. People who notice laugh at it like it's an ironic joke when my jet dog walks peacefully alongside his packmate. Then I have to explain it to them. It's a good idea and I think it's worth it as it has sort of a placebo effect and calms me and possibly my dog. I would buy the leash again as it is durable and has a great soft feel but I would return the collar if I could.
