Review on πŸ”² Bare Decor EZ-Floor Solid Teak Wood Oiled Finish Interlocking Flooring Tiles (Set of 10) - Long 9 Slat by Daniel Jackson

A little planning before ordering will save you a great deal of time and money

DIYers need to be careful when ordering parts for their configuration. Each tile has two adjacent pin ends and two adjacent loop ends. Planning a 3 x 3 square configuration requires some thought and if I knew this project wasn't as auspicious as it first seemed. I suggest putting your configuration on paper using the tile description above before purchasing. Simply draw a square and then place the edges of the pins or loops inside the squares to make your project a lot easier to order the right parts. On your drawing, make sure each end of the pencil meets the end of the hinge. My area to cover with these interlocking teak tiles was 3 squares wide and 3 squares long for a total of 9 square meters. feet in the shower. The package came with no installation instructions, but it wasn't difficult to connect the tiles. However, it is not possible to reach this 3 x 3 tile configuration without showing the end of the loop. So keep that in mind when ordering moldings. Given my configuration, even if you get the right parts, you'll have parts on the floor. Corner trim packages appear (although not listed) with 4 hinges and 4 pins for each corner - easy. It will fit any trim configuration if you want a $60 corner trim package. Both tile configurations (both 10 per box) cost about the sameβ€”$69 or $79, depending on the style you want. The last components are what you need. for non-corner rosettes, supplied 8 per box. What isn't shown is that you can get a loop or pin configuration - I accidentally bought all of the loops. Each pin or loop trim costs $65. You can also get one of these for $15. After the corners are bought, it might be worth picking up $15 pairs. As you can see, with the right details, this project is more expensive than it looks. tile average. $75 between the two styles, corner trim package is $60. The dedicated pin and loop package costs $65, but to properly complete the project you'll need a package of each, which costs $130. The total is $270. One of the other reviewers said they bought a package and the jury put zip ties on it which would have saved $65, but that doesn't seem fair to me in terms of full disclosure if you want to get this project right . Right now I have $79 (tiles) + $60 (8 pieces for trimming loops). I decided to skip the corner trim and buy a box of needle trim for $60. I would suggest that if you ask someone to do a similar project in their house, everyone buys 10 matching tiles, everyone buys a $60 corner pack, and gets a box with a bow and pin to share for $130. As for me, I'll probably return the package of 8 hinged bezels on credit. Then order a corner set with 4 hinges and 4 pins for $60 and then a pair of hinges/pins for $15. In conclusion (I know what you were expecting) I love how it looks in the shower and it's a 5 but I only gave it a 3 because the order of the order is not documented at all and it takes a lot of time and Could save money for this project. I suggest choosing a tile design first, then ordering a corner pack, then ordering hinge/pin pairs as needed. Special packs of 8 loop or pin pads are a waste of money in my opinion unless you are doing a big project or can split the cost of a similar project with a friend. UPDATE After returning the unwanted items and ordering the correct ones (corner set and 4 end pieces) the project turned out as follows along with the teak floor shower and teak bench I previously purchased. My shower square footage is larger than most, as you can see the configuration is 9 sq m. ft. blends easily with the original tile edge. I plan to place some rubber washers (1/2-3/4 high) and place them randomly (especially around the drain) under the configuration to prevent movement and lift the tile off the floor. I plan to spray the shower walls/corners with Clorox Clean Up (or a similar brand) from time to time to run down the drain to prevent mold/odor and to keep the ceramic tile shower floor under the teak deck clean . Much luck! Here are photos of the completed project.
