We love these coloring cups for our twin babies. They allow you to save paint day after day and more or less prevent the mixing of paints in paint containers (not 100% because paint mixes on the brushes, but kept to a minimum). The girls are 2.5 years old and they found that the green color is in the green cup and we use the green brush to pour this cup. It was very, very helpful. Funnel lids are great for preventing and minimizing spills. The color stays in the cup for several weeks and does not dry out. From time to time we find that the mugs have been placed on their side in the art supply box and no leaks have occurred. It takes some finger strength to remove the clear caps.
