DO NOT BUY FOR SCRUBBLE! They are suitable for some craft projects, but not without problems.

Before I start my review it is important that you know why I bought it. I bought these to use for some craft projects NOT to replace the real game pieces on my Scrabble board. I would NOT recommend them for use in a real board game as they do NOT fit together and aren't perfectly flat on the sides meaning they don't sit right next to other pieces. Other than that, they were fine for my project. OK, anyway. Here are some things you should know before you buy: - First, only letters/numbers are drawn. On real Scrabble tiles (or even ones I bought from Hobby Lobby that don't have dots), the letters are engraved into the wood itself and then painted black. They have no cutouts in the wood - There is a great variety of wood grains and patterns among these tiles. me. - I have at least one of each letter, but it would be nice to get at least 2 of each letter instead of 2 blanks. - Some of the The letters drawn have thicker lines than the rest. You can see from my photos that the 'R's in particular are definitely thicker lines than the other letters, which makes it stand out and looks weird when it's next to them. That was disappointing. They match the original Scrabble tiles fairly well in size, thickness, and font, but due to the other issues mentioned and the lack of curly corners, they don't match the original game tiles well. I highly recommend you buy tiles for your game directly from Hasbro, who sell tiles, bags, and shelves on their website for $7.99. In general it was fine for my purposes. You can see how I've used them (glued them to shelves bought from the same company - they were even less happy with me - for use in our guest bedrooms) and they look nice. I think it all depends on what you use them for and how much attention to detail is required to say whether I recommend them or not. I hope this has helped you decide if they are right for you!
