I'm new to this time lapse with a real time time lapse camera. This is completely different than creating a slow-motion video from your iPhone, where it's continuously filmed. You determine the intervals, when and for how long you want to record. I enjoy time lapse photography of my garden plants and storms here in Florida. I needed a separate camera next to my phone because I need to use my phone for other things. For my garden, I set intervals to longer instead of shorter intervals for storms. Then configure everything in the settings. Place the camera where it will remain stationary. You'll need 12 AA batteries (that's a crazy amount). You put 8 on one side and 4 on the other side. The picture is nice and sharp and I love watching the subtle changes inside. All frames. You will enjoy playing with it.
