and the internal mechanism works well. Likely

Pros: Very durable, internal mechanism works properly. Maybe. But there are also disadvantages. First, it doesn't have a flat back. There are two holes on the flange and the back is raised in a thick brass "x". It was very difficult trying to mark consistent positions for the holes while he was swinging. Constant. It only came loose after it was screwed down, which was equally annoying knowing I had to remove the screws on the wall to adjust the level of the surface. Joking, I can do the same now, but in a small hole where there is no room for error. And I hate those gigs from time to time. Soldering all four points makes this valve very hot. I am using PEX and is the same valve available with PEX fittings for inlets only, not outlets? This one was bought by mistake and we had to use it, the guys came the next day. The unused rod with the cap had to be removed and redone three times. and still flows. The valve looks fine and we can't see what the problem with the valve is, but it doesn't make sense. We had to caulk the wall to keep the tile from lifting but now we need to remove the hallway wall so we can go back and keep working on it, hopefully it will caulk. It's incredibly tiring and expensive to juggle so much construction work for a supply that STILL leaks. Again I don't understand how that is a valve unless the brass is deformed. As if it had a soldering force field.

Pros
  • Sturdy
Cons
  • Damaged
