Smooth around the eyes is best for the face
I like these sponges because they lather very well with cleansing gel and they are smooth enough to remove eye makeup with ease. They also wash and dry well. Since they come in packs of 12 I can keep one in the shower and one near the sink and swap out when needed. I didn't give it a 5 because I was hoping to "clean up" more. However, I haven't had any pimples or blackheads since using it.
