Picked them up after a long walk home with double flat tires. I've seen a cyclist with cleat covers like this and never really cared. After use they are now a MUST. I no longer slip or slide on the shop floor when making a pit stop on a long drive. I can go home if I forget something and it doesn't sound like a swear word. I can walk down stairs without feeling like I'm on ice. And most importantly, the Walk of Shame becomes much more manageable if I have a mechanical one. They don't take up any more room than a gel or 2 and are easy to put on and take off (although slightly larger than a gel). I originally imagined). You won't slip out of your shoes while walking.
