This is my take on the Bietrun UMKF01 microphone. I'm an aspiring content creator on a streaming platform and need a microphone that can accurately record my comments while streaming video game content. So far this microphone has served its purpose. It doesn't have the advanced noise-cancelling features that higher-end microphones have; But at this price I would love to have this mic as an entry level purchase. Here are my pros and cons: PROS: - It's a cardioid mic and picks up sound mostly from the front, some from the side and from the back. It comes with a stand that rotates and adjusts for proper positioning when creating content or meetings. It uses micro USB, for me it's a pro because you can get a spare cable if you lose the one that came with it. - LED indicator, it's green when it's recording or live and red when it's audio disabled. - Has a headphone jack for audio monitoring (not sure how you sound? Plug in headphones for this; volume dial lets you adjust the volume while hearing your own voice) Cons: - Plastic construction, you pay for that (microphone survived many falls from a 3ft table onto a wooden floor) - Short cable, it doesn't have that long cable (about 3ft long) Overall this mic is a good entry level mic. Whether you're commenting, hosting meetings, or need a quality microphone at an affordable price, this microphone is for you. If you know your way around sound management software, this mic is a great buy as you can still improve the sound quality!
