As parents of a 6 year old and a 4 year old we have used various playgrounds over the years, be it our tiny little apartment, kindergartens or church services. We've always loved the portability and convenience of playgrounds, but NONE has ever given us the versatility this playpen from Beka offers. As a playpen, it is durable, safe, well padded and has a convenient zip closure. in one of the side walls, which makes it easy for the child to crawl in and out, or better yet, to clean the playground. "It converts into a bassinet very easily, which makes it perfect for small living spaces or for people like us. who just don't want to buy a lot of different children's things that take up space in the house. This device has saved us SO MUCH SPACE! We love how one of the side rails falls down to better accommodate co-sleeping. This is a unique feature that we haven't seen on any other device. The changing unit is very handy, can be easily attached and removed if necessary, and the associated side pockets for diapers, handkerchiefs, cream, etc. are practical. For everything this device offers, it's incredibly affordable. We've seen other playgrounds that offer a lot less and cost twice as much with no discernible difference in quality. This 4-in-1 from Beka stands head and shoulders above the competition because it's such a versatile product that's also durable and safe. The only disclaimer we would like to offer is to let people know that there are many parts on this unit that can make it difficult to transport - changing table, carry bag, side bags, mattress pad. It took a bit of practice to pack everything into the tote bag. As long as you are careful with it, you can take it anywhere and it will last a long time :-)
