$13.99 for three straps - great value. The plastic strap that came with my Fitbit Sense is very uncomfortable and its main purpose is to force you to buy another strap. It is not at all suitable for strenuous exercises. But Velcro straps with the Fitbit logo cost $35 — too much in my opinion. This band is made of mesh material and has a hook and lock material like velcro. They absorb sweat quite well, are breathable, and don't hold moisture as close to the skin as traditional plastic straps do. The straps easily snap into place with the Sense's quick release system. Others have complained that they don't fit the spirit, but they do. I suspect those having trouble with this are connecting them incorrectly (there are no instructions for them). The strap has three plastic tabs; one at each end and one in the middle. You attach the band with one of the ends and a tab in the middle. This allows the band to form a loop that you tighten around your wrist and secure with Velcro. The tab on the other end is just a way to keep the end clean and gives you something to grab and DOES NOT mate with the quick release. That works fine. The only caveat is that they are a bit shorter which makes the loop a bit tight. So if you have wider wrists or arms, they may not fit you. I have to stretch the strap all the way to fit it on my hand and wrist. The rest is recommended.
