At the same time, the knife is able to cope even with fibrous materials, not to mention those whose structure is homogeneous. This functionality is facilitated by a special combined sharpening, combining separate zones of a flat and serrated cutting edge. The manufacturers approached the choice of materials for the knife very thoughtfully. The blade is made of solid 440C stainless steel. In addition to the fact that this alloy has excellent corrosion resistance, it is also capable of being sharp for a long time after sharpening, because the hardness of the metal reaches 58 HRC. For the handle, a special type of nylon reinforced with fiberglass was chosen. The resulting material is practically not inferior in strength to metal, but remains much lighter. In addition, the handle of the Firebird F759M-SBK knife will not absorb water or fade in the sun. And to make the knife as comfortable as possible to hold in your hands, its handle has a comfortable slightly curved shape and is covered with a textured knurling that prevents the nylon from slipping in the palm of your hand. Finally, the folding knife is equipped with a reliable mechanism that regulates the position of its blade. This is a lock called Back Lock. It makes the use of this model much more secure. The service life of such a lock is several years, even with the active use of the knife. A wonderful product, its nice to use.

Lightweight knife for summer EDC. For those who are looking at Spyderco products (in particular, Byrd Meadowlark 2) - a good option for little money to try and decide if it is necessary. Great little knife! I love! Cute, very light, cuts great! For a couple of months that I use it, there was no need for sharpening, although at work I constantly open boxes with it. In general, it is very convenient to have a small knife in your bag - note to all the girls; )

Lightweight knife. I took different colors for everyone as a gift. Nice knife, definitely recommend! Small, but the length of the blade is enough for everyday needs. The lock is comfortable, it is not pressed tightly, but it holds the blade perfectly. The design is interesting, in life the color is a little brighter than in the picture. Initially, it cut well, but I immediately sharpened it to a smaller angle (habit), now it is generally like a small scalpel. It sharpens normally, I think the hardening corresponds to the declared 56-58 units.

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

The color, however, is closer to red, but this is good. Drop it in the grass, you'll see right away. It cuts well out of the box, nothing dangles. Lightweight, not bulky. The clip holds up well. Small and daring, as they say! A flat light handle allows me to store this handsome man even on my cargo, even on summer sports shorts, it doesn’t delay anything.
