This case is made from 100% polyester so it has a very smooth texture. My grandson wanted a green t-shirt to match his bedspread. I couldn't find it but since he likes Minecraft he stopped there. Should also go well with a football motif, I think the colors are just right. Nice little zipper at the end of the bag. It is recommended to fold the cover at least in half and put the pillow inside completely. Then move the length up. Much easier than fighting a 54 inch pillow by dropping it another 54 inches into the pillowcase. I do this with our king size pillows and it helps a lot.
