Review on Supacaz by Byron Howell

Revainrating 2 out of 5

In the world of cycling accessories, Supacaz is the equivalent of the Emperor's New Clothes.

Once upon a time, there was a company named Supacaz that produced bike accessories, promising that they were both inventive and fashionable. I was so eager to check them out that I bought their handlebar tape as well as their water bottles. However, I quickly came to the conclusion that I had been duped by the proverbial "Emperor's New Clothes" of cycling gear. After only a few rides, the handlebar tape started to come apart, and the water bottles began to leak all over the place. My attempts to get in touch with the customer service department were like yelling into the void. Beware, fellow riders; do not let yourself be duped by Supacaz's assurances that they pay careful attention to both quality and detail. It is all an illusion created by smoke and mirrors.

Pros
  • a focus on every product's details.
Cons
  • Compared to rivals, their product offering is very lacking.
