Great light And here are my lessons I learned to save you time

Reference: I have an F- 150 Lariat 2007. This product is perfect. Here's what's good about the product: 1. It looks the same as the factory third brake light.2. The quality was great on mine.3. It comes with a great foam gasket on the base and the plastic is also glued to the gasket.4. Including wiring harness with 3 bulbs. I hope this saves you some time during installation: 1. You will need: a medium Phillips screwdriver, some paper towels, some water, some rubbing alcohol (isopropyl), and a little patience.2. Before you begin, take a screwdriver and try tightening the screws on the old light fixture to determine how much torque is required to install the new light fixture. You have to remember how it feels. Your current brake light should go out fairly easily. Just remove the 2 screws and hold them in place when you need them. After removing the screws, pull out the old lamp well and wiggle to loosen it.3. When I removed the flashlight there was dirt around the sealing area. You must clean this area well before installing a new gasket to ensure the new gasket will not leak. If it leaks, water will seep into your truck and possibly ruin headliner, seats, carpet, etc.4. Clean the metal of the sealing area with alcohol and paper towels. Then wipe it off with very clean water and a towel. It took me 5 minutes to clean mine with lots of elbow grease but I achieved a great look. 5. If you just want to replace the plastic body of the flashlight, you can reuse the old wiring harness. That saves a lot of time. Simply remove the 3 bulbs from your old housing and replace them with the new housing meaning you will have a new wiring harness when you are done. It's probably a good idea to replace the lightbulbs with new ones while you're at it.6. Unfortunately, the hail destroyed my case and the water that got inside shorted out the center red light and burned the lamp socket to a crisp. That means I had to replace the wiring harness. Glad he came with one! 7. To replace the tourniquet you need long fingers and thin hands. If you take your time you can get it good. I panicked at first, thinking I'd have to remove the headliner to get to the connector, but luckily I didn't have to. I have this picture: If you look inside the cavity you will notice two large holes in the back wall. Just past the right hole behind the fairing is a connector. You can tell its location by the protruding plastic latches. Take your left index finger and enter that right hole by twisting your index finger to the right and you will feel the old seat belt plug. It is enough to press a little on yourself and to the left, and the connector will disconnect. Remove it slowly, making sure to pay attention to the orientation of the plug as it goes through the correct hole. Mine ended up with the flat side towards me as you probably have. Pull out the old wiring harness. Remove the bulbs from the new wiring harness to protect them, then feed the new wiring harness through the center hole first and then through the right hole behind the panel. Again, take your left index finger and make sure the connector is in the correct orientation as discussed, then move it towards you, push against the wall and up until you connect it to the connector. Once I did mine went in easily and I couldn't believe it went so fast. I heard a soft click and then checked lightly with my finger to make sure it was secure. With the wiring harness 3 connected, reinstall the bulbs. Now test your truck to make sure all 3 headlights are working properly before installing the body. Press the unlock button on the remote control to check the side white lights. If you're presenting a one-man show, I had to put something heavy on the brake pedal to test the middle red light.9. Now it's time to place the sockets in the new housing. Then you can install the case. When you install the new case and screw in the screws, be careful not to overtighten them. Otherwise you will break it. You want them to be cozy. Much luck! All of this took between 45 minutes and an hour, and I'm pretty good at these things. I took my time and walked slowly so as not to break anything.
