Mainboard in place. I gave up the idea of merging the drives with the SSD and decided to just use the SSHD replacement, which was doing fine until I realized the screw set was incomplete (a T8 screwdriver was missing), forcing me to go to the local hardware to go save in the middle of the installation. As a note; The kit had no good tools and 7 screwdrivers as in the photo. Rather it was a box containing 3 screwdrivers in plastic bags, a spatula, cloth, cables, suction cups and double sided tape. No problem if you get the right 90 degree SATA cable and make the SSD alloy; but my kit felt like a clunky hybrid between an SSD install and a new HD that didn't have the right tools to get it right.
