Review on Audio-Technica ATH-SR30BTBK Charcoal Gray Wireless Over-Ear Headphones with Bluetooth by Doyun Kwon ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, more pros than cons.

I like soundproofing, and the overhead headphones are big enough for my ears to fit inside. Eminent rivals like Sony won't be able to provide you with anything for this cheap with such sonic quality; it's difficult to listen to their ears for $5; an analog will cost you from $15. Marshall offers a comparable service for a fee, but they are entirely administrative. I don't like JBL's sound, and everything I've listened to from them has had the volume turned down. The sound is balanced here, but if you listen closely, it can seem that the sound isn't "transparent" or "clean" enough; this may be due to the recording's own quality. Loud enough so that listening to music or reading won't be interrupted by the metro. I listen to them for three hours every day, and I charge them approximately once a month—not because they're dead, but because you should charge them occasionally. The built-in microphone is horrible, as is everything linked to it! You can respond to a yes-or-no call that lasts for five seconds, but in all other circumstances, I pick up the phone. The microphone buzzes, phonates, and emits some sort of electrical noise before gathering all the background noise in the cosmos and producing an echo, as if this were not enough.

Pros
  • Pricing, battery life, sound quality for the money, and comfort of wearing.
Cons
  • The headphones' microphone is appalling. It's nearly hard to talk while wearing headphones as a headset unless your aim is to annoy the other person.
