I bought this because I recently started working from home and spend a lot of time on conference calls. My cell phone is connected to my Panasonic cordless home phone via Bluetooth and I was using a headset clipped to one ear. It was often almost impossible to understand what some people were saying. Very frustrating! I didn't want to use a Bluetooth headset with my phone because I didn't want to charge anything else. I've only been using this headset for about a week and it has made an incredible difference. Everyone hears me perfectly and I understand almost every word. The ear cushions also block out a lot of background noise. I should have bought them a long time ago!
