Loose fit but works well

What I don't like: At maximum compression the thin metal ring that fits over my head loosens and the plastic side panel rotates. It doesn't feel like it's securely attached to my head. What I like: While the earcups are loose, they're comfortable. I can hear others very well and they can hear me too. With the previous headset, people complained that I sounded far away. The microphone works much better here.

you really hear!

I bought this because I recently started working from home and spend a lot of time on conference calls. My cell phone is connected to my Panasonic cordless home phone via Bluetooth and I was using a headset clipped to one ear. It was often almost impossible to understand what some people were saying. Very frustrating! I didn't want to use a Bluetooth headset with my phone because I didn't want to charge anything else. I've only been using this headset for about a week and it has made an…

Use it for VOIP calls in your home office and you're done.

Lightweight, cable is long enough and twisted to avoid snagging, good sound quality. I connect it to a Panasonic DECT 6.0 phone system with VOIP support (MagicJack) - it works as expected. My only real gripe is the tiny size of the headphones themselves - about half the size of my adult ears - but not a show limiter. I've used several of these headphones over the years and prefer these "both ear" types to the one-header design. I don't wear it all day but use it for conference calls or when I…

better than the headphones i had before

this is good gear. The incoming audio is very loud - almost too loud, but there's a built-in volume control for that. The people on the other end say they can hear me fine. One minor complaint about the audio is that I can't hear myself speaking into the receiver like I would on a regular phone. It's just different than what I'm used to, so it doesn't really matter, but it just FEELS a little bit off. The build quality seems solid and the comfortable leatherette ear cups are top notch. The…

Why do I have to shout to be heard?

Not sure if the ones I received were defective or just made for people who speak VERY LOUD. When I speak in a normal tone, the people I call say they can barely hear me (like I'm far, far away). I have to shout a lot to be understood. This is very bad because the incoming call sounds fine to me. However, the base headset feels cheap. The adjustment strap is quite stiff and difficult to put on and take off, and the headset itself isn't very comfortable. Not sure if they are too cheap to be…

Cheap / weak headset. Get What You Pay For

Updated 4/1/2019. Let's get to the real headset. I will be buying a Plantronics headset to replace this junk. Such a shame. Reconnect the headset to my cordless phone (Panasonic KXTG). Only to find it wasn't working properly... When I plugged in the phone I heard all sorts of scratches and clicks... Just a very poorly made headset. When he was working, his own voice couldn't be heard through the headset... And the piece of metal separating the two headphones is so unforgiving that it's either…
