Review on 🎧 BASN MMCX Triple Driver In-Ear Monitors: Immersive Bass and HiFi Stereo Earphones for Audiophiles and Musicians (Porcelain White) by Corey Nyuon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Highly recommended for in-ear headphones

When I received these earphones I wanted to plug them in and left, right? It's been a long time since I've seen wired in-ear headphones and strove to go completely wireless. many years ago. I disagreed. There are excellent wireless devices at the moment. My husband, a respected musician and sound engineer, refused to even try them, believing there was no way around phase problems. I bought him a pair of Sony XM1000s and he reluctantly agreed, then got an extra cable and has been wearing them ever since. I think he's written exactly one review in the 20 or so years that I've been writing it. I gave them to him because he has a home studio and has a lot more use for monitors. He's a fairly die-hard audio reviewer and has said that he thinks 5 stars means 'run and buy'. Well he was impressed with these headphones. Here's his review: These BASN MMCX headphones are unusual in that they're wired, not wireless. However, they are way better than any other headphones I've tried. Cord can be a deal breaker for some. I do not mind. The sound is so good. The design is similar to in-ear headphones or IEMs used by musicians on stage, with 3 drivers, a larger diaphragm or speaker component and a very accurate sound output. After breaking in the headphones, the sound is comparable to the Sony 1000s, which are the standard for me. They are very efficient and able to handle higher sound levels than safely, with full frequency sound. The bass is not emphasized, the voices are not forward, everything is correct. Once inserted in the ear, they are invisible to the wearer, very light. The packaging is reminiscent of other high-end electronic devices, and presentation is a big part of the "unboxing" process. How times change. There are 12 sets of ear tips, 4 styles of S, M and L sizes, memory foam and 3 different silicone designs with different noise canceling properties. There is a hard case to store everything. The earcups are larger than you might be used to, but they sit comfortably in your ear and the cable is routed over and around the outer ear and supported by a 2" or 3" long flexible plastic shell. The package includes 2 cables, one for audio and the other for voice and audio when used for phone calls. There's a simple guide on how to set it up, warranty (12 months for headphones, 90 days for everything else except earbuds) and care for the earbuds, which will need cleaning from time to time. There is a cleaning tool and a clip to attach the cord to clothing. In general, despite the lack of wireless connectivity, the headphones are spectacular. 5 stars, easy.
