One of the carabiners bent on the second or third try. Not sure how, considering they lock before pressure is applied. Straightened it enough to use but now the spring latch doesn't work. The edges of the locking part of the carabiner are very sharp. You could easily cut your finger. I ended up using a Dremel tool to dull the edges of a previously purchased set so I wouldn't have to worry about getting cut. Decided to return these and go the other way. Update: One of the ratchets failed today. I threw them both away. Have owned it for less than a year. Probably used 8 or 9 times. waste of money!
