Compromise "nice " clothes

My son always prefers to wear only sportswear. So these slightly more casual khaki shorts are a good compromise because after all they are not athletic shorts (an advantage for me) but still casual shorts (an advantage for my son). They feel well-tailored and relatively thick, so not something you'd want to wear in the middle of winter.
