Not sure how to put it but when my wife tried to connect this cable to her Samsung S8+ use it did the usb-c cable not working. clean connection - the charging aspect kept dropping. When I connected it to my S8+ it connected cleanly. I compared the ends of the USB-C to other cables we have and they are slightly shorter. I tried all three cables on their phone with the same result. I'm leaving them because they seem to work on all of our other USB-C devices.
