This isn't the strongest hanger you'll find, but it's fine as long as your stuff isn't too heavy and you don't to bring out of balance. Part of the problem is that the struts that make up the base aren't very wide. This means putting heavy objects on top or at the ends of the pegs could cause tipping. However, this works great if you're not using pegs (i.e. hands holding clothes or hangers) that you don't need, and especially if you're using hangers, as it keeps them close to the center. not on the edge of the shelf.
