Obviously they come in different colors but I don't care. It's a cover! It does exactly what it's supposed to do for the intended product. BEWARE it may not fit other manufacturers' 'standard' size 3 (1/3) pans - it is billed specifically for Carlisle products. Other plastic third pans may look very similar, but may not have the exact dimensions that make this lid so tight. However, this only applies to plastic pans, not metal pans, Carlisle or not. As far as it fits the appropriate container, it's perfect - provides a tight seal, preventing airflow and leaks (not fully sealed) for every 1/3 pot depth - and also makes them stackable. This is a low density (softer) plastic so it won't break or crack easily and will withstand years of industrial/professional use/abuse. Your mileage may vary, high temperatures, e.g. B. by dishwashers, or disinfection methods can deform the product over time. In my experience, even warped products still fulfill their function without the aesthetics of a "new" article. This item is designed for use in cooler to room temperature environments. Exposure to excessive heat can damage the product to the point that, under appropriate circumstances, it becomes unusable. Otherwise it's a lid, what more could you ask for!
