Pro:1. All cutouts are in the right places.2. Faux leather is convenient to use and looks beautiful.3. Good value for money Cons: 1. Volume side cutout and locking switch on the edges are covered with hard material. It looks like melted plastic. Probably to protect the edge from wear or something. It's okay, it just doesn't look very neat (the plastic surface isn't smooth). This cutout also leaves the edge of the iPad open and exposed. If dropped or hit in any way, the iPad will definitely get scratched or dented in that area. The case does not protect the corners.3. Makes the iPad a bit bulkier.4. The Smart Cover feature works flawlessly. Sometimes you need to push the cap down a bit to improve alignment/contact. I always have to listen for a "click" to make sure the screen turns off after closing the lid. It's probably better to just disable this feature and use the manual button instead. This case protects your iPad with proper care. I wouldn't recommend it if the user is prone to dropping things or wants to toss the mini in a bag with keys and other hard objects. I would recommend getting a more expensive case to fully protect your Mini, especially if you're considering a trade later.
