I'm in love with this charger. I can just put my phone on it and don't have to plug in the cable. Love it. It takes a lot longer to charge, but that's to be expected. I also have a full case on a Samsung S8 and it's still charging. The charger is not to blame. I have a divisible one that I really like, the magnetic phone holder in my car. You cannot use both. The charger cannot charge through metal. Removing the body is impractical, I have to use my teeth. It's there, so it's either a magnetic holder, which I like, or it's a charger. I even tried using a very thin smart card pouch on the back of the phones to allow the metal plate to be removed, but it was thick enough or had cardboard on it to completely prevent the wireless charger from charging. (nothing inside). I've definitely tried. Unfortunately I don't want to use a phone clip in my car.
