I like it but not very practical. Demanding in cleaning. Great for when you go into a state where straws have been removed from drinks. However, be CAREFUL. Hot drinks will burn your lips and mouth if you're not careful, and cold ice will freeze your brain and will certainly freeze your lips and tongue. Stainless steel is an excellent conductor at any temperature. I hate, hate, hate drinking over the top of a glass at any restaurant (old lipstick on supposedly clean glasses is gross). I ordered these. Just make sure you take your straw with you when the waiter takes your dishes away. Biodegradable paper straws kink, crease etc. and soil my purse. This is the best alternative I've found.
