Review on 🚽 Valterra A01-0189VP Tank Wand Hose Kit: Superior Cleaning Solution for Tanks by Matt Chirila

I bought this hose set thinking it was just black tank cleaning solution after using a water drain station that doesn't have a faucet to flush the tank. what would be better Hose connector for my flexible tank with a rotating spray on the working end. I can connect the hose to the bathroom faucet, connect the hose and use the 12 volt pump to flush the tank. THAT DOES NOT WORK! If you are using a 12 volt water pump, there will not be enough water pressure to accommodate the extreme flow of water that the toilet is putting out. You open the flush valve and push hard enough to open the valve so you can stick the wand in. The problem is; the water pressure is picked up by the toilet, which does not leave enough pressure to turn the nozzle on the hose, . ...it's just a trickle at the business end of the stick. If there was a way to turn off the water jet in the toilet, it might work. However; Certainly not enough to wash out dirt in the tank. So unless I'm at an RV park where there's a full connection; Where city water can remain connected this unit is useless. If I have a city water connection, I prefer to use a tank washer that is connected to the sewer system.
