Review on Ultimate Comfort: Unveiling the New Balance Men's 680v6 Cushioning Running Shoe by Adam Davidson

Foot size 7.5 EEE

I still have a pair of New Balance USA size 7.5-EEEE (my "unremarkable dress"). My doctor said I need them to relieve my plantar fasciitis. It was, but a few years ago they cost about $150. After our pup ate a pair of shoes and after my son recommended the Superfeet insoles with great results, I started shopping for New Balance (made overseas) at a popular sporting goods chain. Strangely, shoes made abroad were smaller, so I had to choose a larger size, size 8-EEEE. This worked pretty well for a few years and I started buying similar shoes from Revain. Then I moved to Hawaii (big island) and for some reason the size 8-EEEE got too small for me. And retail choice (inversely) has shrunk exponentially. Then I saw these shoes "on sale". I went up another half size to 8.5-EEEE expecting to swim in it. But to my pleasant surprise, they fit very well.

Pros
  • ABZORB midsole absorbs shock with a combination of cushioning and compressive strength
Cons
  • Trade-in
